Hiking but why? to escape everyday life or to improve your physical condition? or maybe just to dream at your own pace and meditate? Maybe it’s a little bit of all that.

Hiking is above all the wonder of the richness of the biotopes crossed; of a snowdrop which has found passage towards the light or the agitation of the wren which panics in spring. It is also for the splendid and majestic scenery of our forming Alps or for the shared encounters. It’s a natural return to our roots, with our feet on the ground and our heads in the stars. Hiking is a hymn to freedom, a fight against gravity, the acceptance of one’s breathing to gain what makes us human: freedom. It is she who defines the conditions of our flight. All that remains is to go from chrysalis to butterfly and… hike.

Give yourself time to progress, chart your course and enjoy yourself. Hiking remains the best remedy for many ills and it is certainly the best approach to giving meaning to our existence. Try.
