Itinerary
From the village of Gümmenen (departure also possible from Klein Gümmenen), cross the wooden bridge and follow the signs for the hike towards Saanesteg. At the beginning the route follows the main road up to a farm. At the height of the farm turn left and head through fields to the forest. As soon as you enter the forest, follow the path uphill. For the continuation until Saanesteg, the route is obvious. After crossing the footbridge over the Saane retrace your steps following the Saane to the starting point.
