The route begins on the Place de Farinet at the bottom of the old village of Saillon. If you travel by private vehicle, we advise you to start the hike by parking your vehicle in the car park next to the cemetery in the old town of Saillon. From the car park, on foot, follow the Chavannes road to the exit of the village. After about 250 meters, the road joins a farm road that climbs steeply between two houses. Follow this road until the next fork and then, always follow the direction « passerelle à Farinet and stained glass Farinet.
Arriving at the top of the vineyards (after point 715), the road sinks into the forest. Access is blocked by a door that is closed. This door must always be closed after your passage. After a short climb through the forest, you reach the Passerelle à Farinet. Take the time to admire the Salentse Gorge and, if you are lucky, you can admire thrill seekers who ride the spectacular via ferrata of the Salentse Gorge.
For the return, at the exit of the hamlet “Les Places”, the path descends through the meadows towards Montagnon (general direction Leytron, Montagnon). Once in Montagnon, keep going down towards Produit following the Corbet road. From the hamlet of Produit, follow “Saillon” by a very steep path to “Les Moulins”. From there, follow Saillon Vieux Bourg if you are parked in the cemetery, if not follow Saillon, place Farinet.

Very sunny course, in the summer, it can be very hot. Always follow the Farinet stained-glass windows which mark out the route to the footbridge.
