Useful information
Very easy hike and discovery of the magnificent La Dard waterfalls. Le Refuge is the perfect place for a picnic. There is also an installation for grilling. A visit to the Romainmôtier church is a must.
Itinerary
From Romainmôtier Abbey follow the canal by the right bank towards Croy, first by a road and after crossing a small bridge by a path that runs along the canal to Croy. After crossing the bottom of the village of Croy, descend by road to the path that begins in the forest. Follow La Dard to La Cressonnière (elevation point 546). The route leaves the riverside to reach Le Refuge by a short climb (direction Romainmôtier). Thereafter, always follow Romainmôtier to reach the starting point.
