Itinerary
Take the Saas Almagell chairlift to reach Furggstalden and head nord towards Almagelleralp, Almagellerhittu SAC and Erlebnissweg. After crossing the hamlet of Furggstalden, the route joins a road that you take uphill. At the first bend in the road follow the path towards Almagelleralp, etc. After crossing a forest, the route joins the rock wall and becomes dizzying. All passages are very well secured but absolutely not recommended for people suffering from vertigo. After crossing the first two bridges, continue towards Almagelleralp, Almagellerhittu SAC and Moosgufer to a place called “Chüelbrunnji” (altitude point 2053). Follow left towards Moosgufer and Saas Almagell. Once on the bisse de Moosgufer, head east towards the bisse de Heuvete and Saas Almagell to reach the 3rd suspension bridge, (very easy compared to the first two) and continue towards Saas Almagell to reach the point departure.
