Route

From the Col du Mollendruz follow Châtel, Montricher, Mont Tendre. Follow “chemin des Crêtes du Jura (5)”. Follow the road along the Combe de la Neige to a chalet. After the chalet, continue for about 200 meters. At the fork (opposite the farm Pré de l’Haut-Dessous)), turn right towards the Bois des Croisettes. Follow for 800 meters and turn left towards Haut de Mollendruz. Wait for the summit and admire the panorama and then descend to reach the eastern slope of the Joux valley. Follow in the direction of Chalet neuf du Pont and Pétra Félix. Before Pétra Félix, the route follows the Col du Mollendruz road for 300 meters. At the junction for Romainmôtier, take the road below the main road and follow Col du Mollendruz to reach the starting point.

Useful information

After the Combe de la Neige, this route does not follow the official indications. The paths are existing but the directions are not indicated. To follow the route, an app like Swissmobile can be very useful. In summer, the pastures are occupied by cattle.
