From the Fafleralp car park, go up the right bank of the Lonza River for 200 meters to the bridge. Cross the river and follow “Anenhütte” by the left bank. After about 1 km of walking, the road forks along the river or along the “Grundsee”. It’s a choice and the two routes meet. Afterwards, always follow “Anenhütte”. Once at the cabin, it is possible to reach the “Anensee” (15 minutes walk). For the descent take the path to the west of the hut and follow until the “Guggisee” which is an ideal place for an extended break. Continue towards Fafleralp by the path on the left bank of the “Guggisee” to the hamlet of “Guggistafel”. Join Fafleralp following the signs Parking Fafleralp.
Beautiful hike that takes place in the mythical Lötschental. Extremely preserved valley. In autumn, the colors are sumptuous. The “Anenhütte” is a private cabin, with 4-star comfort, even with a Wellness suite for two people.
